vineyard

Sarsfield Estate Vineyard is located in the Lakes and Wilderness area of East Gippsland, Victoria. Vines and crop levels are carefully managed to produce grapes of the highest quality.

vintage

A cool, wet spring was followed by a cool, ideal summer.
With perfect cropping levels and grapes
developing with balance and style we really
expected one of these perfect vintages we only get every few years.
But heavy rain started a week before vintage and hardly stopped for three weeks.
Pinot noir had to be picked during a short break in the rain, and at slightly lower sugar level than we were aiming for.
